OUR STORY
PECS was founded by a healthcare professional with years of experience across acute care hospitals, LTAC, home health, assisted living, skilled nursing, and mental health settings. This diverse background inspired a deep understanding of the challenges individuals and families face across the continuum of care.
THE TURNING POINT
While serving as a Director of Nursing, our founder accompanied a patient to a same-day surgical procedure because the patient lacked a reliable support system. She stayed through the process and helped clarify confusing discharge instructions—ensuring the patient returned home with confidence and care.
WHY PECS
WAS CREATED
That experience revealed how many elderly individuals silently face fears, confusion, transportation barriers, missed appointments, and lack of support. PECS was created to be the reassuring presence and trusted help families wish they always had access to.
